The cause remains under investigation.
Hagerstown, Md (KM) Damage is estimated at $600,000 from a fire Tuesday afternoon at a four-unit row house complex in Hagerstown.
At around 3:47 PM, fire fighters were dispatched to the 11125 Jade Court and spent 25-minutes bringing the flames under control. There were no injuries reported.
The Maryland State Fire Marshal’s Office says the cause remains under investigation, but the fire originated in an attached garage.
Investigators say a resident was alerted by a smoke alarm. Upon inspecting the garage, it was found to be heavily involved in flames which spread to the attached residence and an adjacent row house.
The Primary responding company to the one-alarm fire was the Funkstown Volunteer Fire Department.
