Westminster, Md (KM) Damage is estimated at $100,000 from a structure fire in Carroll County early Tuesday morning.
The Maryland State Fire Marshal’s Office says at around 3:24 AM, fire fighters were dispatched to 3411 Littlestown Pike in Westminster for a single-story, detached garage on fire. They spent 30-minutes bringing the flames under control. No injuries were reported.
Investigators say the fire originated in a chicken coop, and is being labeled as accidental. It was discovered by a passerby.
