Frederick County Grand Jury Returns Eight Indictments

Two were supplemental indictments.

Frederick, Md (KM) The Frederick County Grand Jury on Friday issued a supplement indictment for a Frederick man charged with abusing his six-week-old son. Keith Patrick Lewis, 34,. Lewis was indicted for 2nd-degree child abuse and 2nd-degree assault for incidents which occurred between June 21st and July 5th of this year. He is already charged with 1st-degree child abuse resulting in severe physical injury, and another charge of 2nd-degree child abuse. He remains free on ten-thousand-dollars bond.

Frederick Police say the infant had significant injuries including several fractured bones.

The Grand Jury also returned seven other indictments:

*Preston Grayson Holmes, 30, of Damascus, Md., who is charged with four counts of armed robbery; four counts of 2nd-degree assault; one count of theft between $1500- $25,000; two counts of theft between $100-$1500; and theft less than $100 for an incident which occurred on March 31st, 2022

*Gregory David Ferguson, 30 of Germantown, Md., and Deandre Dennis Raynor, 31, of Frederick, Md., are both indicted as co-defendants. They’re charged 2nd-degree burglary; conspiracy to commit 2nd-degree burglary; 4th-degree burglary (burglary tools); malicious destruction of property less than $1000 for an incident which occurred on October 28th, 2023.

*Harry William Thompson, 78, of Mount Airy, Md,, who is charged with 1st-degree assault; 2nd-degree assault; vulnerable adult abuse for an incident which occurred on October 29th, 2023.

*Marcos John Carlos Zarate, 38, of Frederick, Md., who is charged with 2nd-degree child abuse by a custodian; and 2nd-degree assault for an incident which occurred on November 3rd, 2023.

*Deangelo Michael Sawyer, 27, of Baltimore, Md. who is charged with possession with intent to distribute and possession of fentanyl for an incident which occurred on February, 23rd, 2022.

*Jontan Daniel Corado-Moscoso, 31, of Frederick who is charged in a supplemental indictment with three counts of sex abuse of a minor, and two counts of 3rd-degree sex offense for incidents which occurred between August 24th, 2019 and August 25th,2021.

These cases now go to the Circuit Court where trial dates will be scheduled.

The Frederick County State’s Attorney’s Office indictments are charging documents alleging criminal conduct, and all defendants are innocent until proven guilty.
