Knoxville, Md (KM) No injuries are reported from a house fire Sunday morning in Washington County.
At 2:40 AM, personnel were dispatched to 1326 Weaverton Road in Knoxville, and found a one-story, single-family home with an attached garage on fire. It took 50 fire fighters three hours to bring the flames under control.
Damage is estimated at $100,000 to the structure, and $50,000 to the contents. .
The Maryland State Fire Marshal’s Office says the fire originated in the garage, and was discovered by a resident. The cause remains under investigation.
