Hagerstown, Md (KM) A fatal pedestrian accident is under investigation.
At around 10:00 PM on Sunday, the Washington County Sheriff’s Office says deputies responded to the 1300 block of the Dual Highway in Hagerstown for a motor vehicle collision involving a pedestrian. The pedestrian was taken to Meritus Medical Center where he died from his injures. He’s identified as Allen M. Moxley, 57, of Hagerstown.
The Sheriff’s Office says a Toyota Corolla was traveling westbound along the Dual Highway when it struck Moxley who was crossing the roadway.
That area of the Dual Highway was closed from 10:00 PM until midnight on Sunday while deputies with the Crash Reconstruction Team conducted their investigation.
