Frederick County Executive Invites Public To Attend Budget Listening Sessions

The first listening session is January 10th.

Frederick, Md. (BW)- Frederick County Executive Jessica Fitzwater will hold five town hall meetings between Jan 10 and Feb 1, 2024 to help her set priorities for the upcoming budget.

These meeting and open to the public.

There will be one session for each of the five council districts in the county, but citizens are welcome to attend any or all of the meetings.

The first meeting will be held on Wednesday, Jan 10 at 7 p.m. at the Middletown Fire Hall (401 Franklin St, Middletown.)

The second meeting is going to be held on Thursday, Jan 11 at 7 p.m. at the Prospect Center (585 Himes Ave, Frederick.)

Fitzwater will also hold a listening session on Saturday, Jan 20 at 1 p.m. at Walkersville High School (81 W Frederick St, Walkersville.)

Another meeting will be held on Monday, Jan 22 at 7 p.m. at the New Market Volunteer Fire Hall (76 W Main St, New Market.)

The last meeting will be hosted on Thursday, Feb 1 at 7 p.m. at Lincoln Elementary School (200 Madison St, Frederick.)
