Hagerstown, Md (KM) A Hagerstown man was killed in a two-vehicle crash near the Valley Mall Wednesday evening.
The Washington County Sheriff’s Office says at around 5:20 PM ,deputies responded to Massey Boulevard and Valley Mall Road for a collision between a Chrysler van and motorcycle. The bike was traveling southbound on Massey Boulevard when it collided with the van which was turning north from Valley Mall Road on to Massey Boulevard. .
The motorcycle driver identified as Corey Lee Grove, 22, was pronounced dead at the scene. The operator of the van was taken to Meritus Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.
The Sheriff’s Office says the investigation continues into this crash.
