Governor Appoints Two For Frederick County Circuit Court Judgeships

Both will take over from two retiring judges.

 

 

 

Annapolis, Md (KM) Two new Circuit Court Judges have been named for Frederick County.

Governor Wes Moore has chosen Joanie Raymond Brubaker. She serves as a magistrate presiding over juvenile delinquency issues, Children In Need of Assistance matters, child support and family law.

Also picked for the Circuit Court was Julie Minner who also serves as a magistrate dealing with family law, child custody, child support, alimony, Child In Need of Assistance matters, and juvenile delinquency.

“I am honored to appoint these distinguished individuals to serve on the  Frederick County Circuit Court,”: Governor Moore says is a statement. “Both Magistrate Brubaker and Magistrate Minner will bring a depth of legal experience and knowledge to their roles and I thank them for answering the call to serve the people of Frederick County.”

Both will replace Circuit Court Judge Theresa Adams who retired in September, and Judge Julie Stevenson Solt who has announced her retirement.
