Gaithersburg, Md. (BW)- A man from Gaithersburg was arrested and charged with vehicle theft and other offenses , 2023.
On the morning of Dec 13, Montgomery County Police were alerted to a vehicle theft in Rockville. They located the suspect, identified as 33-year-old Travis Isreal, around 6 p.m. in the 100 block of East Deer Park Drive in Gaithersburg and took him into custody. Isreal resisted arrest by trying to run away but he was unsuccessful.
Police found several items in the vehicle that linked Isreal to burglaries on Calaber Drive, Tulip Drive, Cottonwood Terrace, and Washington Grove Lane, as well as a theft on Gaither Road.
Isreal has been charged with burglary, theft, auto theft, rogue and vagabond, and resisting arrest. He was also charged by the Gaithersburg Police Department for another burglary on East Deer Park Drive.
He is currently being held without bond.
