Walkersville Man Indicted By Frederick County Grand Jury For The Murder Of His Wife

He is one of ten indictments returned on Friday by the Grand Jury.

Frederick, Md. (KM) There were ten indictments returned on Friday by the Frederick County Grand Jury. In one, the panel charged Frederick Owusu-Sakyi, 33, of Walkersville,  with first-degree murder, use of a firearm in a crime of violence, illegal possession of a regulated firearm and two counts of violating a ex parte/protective order.

Owusu-Sakyi was arrested on Sunday, January 7th for the shooting death of his estranged wife, Tenisha Butler, 33, of Frederick,.. She was shot outside of the Giant Food on Sugarloaf Parkway in Urbana late Saturday night, January 6th. Butler had been seeking a divorce from her husband.

Also indicted was Scott Paul Locastro, 50, of West Friendship in Howard County, who is charged with eight counts of solicitation of a minor, and two counts of the sale of obscene materials to minors. The Sheriff’s Office says Locastro began conversing with a detective posing as a 13-year-old girl on line. Loccasto allegedly sent numerous sexually explicit images and messages to the “minor,” and continued to make arrangements to meet the girl on January 5th in Frederick, despite the fact that the detective told Locastro  numerous times he  was conversing with a minor, according to the Sheriff’s Office.

The two arranged to meet, and when he arrived, Locastro was taken into custody.

A third defendant indicted by the Grand Jury on Friday was Lorenzo Alexander Williams, 27, of Frederick, who is charged with 1st-degree assault, 2nd-degree assault, reckless endangerment, malicious destruction of property less than $1,000, and four counts of violating the conditions of his release.

Authorities say Williams was taken into custody in January for a series of incidents in December, including assaulting his girlfriend and strangling her. He was also arrested for discharging a firearm on Waverly Drive in the city of Frederick.

Other indictments returned by the Grand Jury:

*Nicholas Peer Albanes, 41, of Frederick, who is charged with attempted kidnapping of a child under 16; robbery; theft between $100 and $1500; and two counts of 2nd-degree assault for an offense which occurred on May 10th, 2023.

*Robert Merlin Brubaker, 42, of Thurmont, who is charged 1st-degree assault, and 2nd-degree assault for an offense which occurred on January 3rd, 2024.

*Stephan Darnall Goines, 32, of Frederick, who is charged with 1st-degree assault; 2nd-degree assault and reckless endangerment for an offense which occurred on December 25th, 2023

*Karess Myetes Price, 37, of Frederick who is charged with 3rd-degree burglary, 2nd-degree assault; 4th-degree burglary; and two counts  malicious destruction of property for an offense which occurred on January 10th, 2024.

*Cornelius Boyd Allmond, 43, of Baltimore, Md, who is charged with possession with intent to distribute cocaine, and possession of cocaine for an offense which occurred on January 2nd, 2024

*Jose Alexander Cruz-Lopez, 19, of Frederick, who is charged with 1st-degree assault; 2nd-degree assault; reckless endangerment; having a concealed dangerous weapon; possession of a firearm by a minor; possession with intent to distribute cannabis; and the use of a firearm in a drug trafficking crime for an offense that occurred on January 8th, 2024.

These indictments move these cases to the Circuit Court where trial dates will be scheduled.

The Frederick County State’s Attorney’s Office says indictments  are  charging documents alleging criminal conduct, and all defendants are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
