Former Jefferson County High School Teacher Arrested As Fugitive From Justice

Jefferson County, WV. (BW)- A former Jefferson High School teacher was arrested on Saturday, Feb 3 for fleeing from sexual exploitation charges, according to the Martinsburg Journal.

Edgar Conn faces eight counts of sexual exploitation of a child in Cobb County, Georgia. He is considered a fugitive from justice.

Conn was an English teacher at Jefferson High School since 2021. The school system fired Conn as soon as allegations against him were made.

If convicted, Conn could face up to 160 years in prison.
