Unions Representing Frederick County Public School Employees Endorse Board Of Ed Candidates

This follows questionnaires and interviews of each candidate.

Frederick, Md (KM) The three unions representing Frederick County Public School System educators and staff have endorsed three candidates for the Board of Education. They are Josh Bokee, Janie Monier and Chad King Wilson, Junior.

In a statement, the Frederick County Teachers Association (FCTA), the Frederick Association of School Support Employees (FASSE) and the Frederick County Administrative and Supervisory Association (FCASA) announced the endorsements. They say this follows each candidate receiving questionnaires and interviews. The interview committee then makes a recommendations to the boards of all three unions on who to support.

“We’re proud to support candidates who are committed to our students and communities, and give educators a voice in the decisions and policies that affect public education,” says FCTA President Missy Dirks, in a statement.

The Primary election is May 14th.
