The Sheriff’s Office says the roadway has reopened to traffic.
Frederick, MD. (BW)- Route 85 in Frederick was shut down in both directions near Marcie’s Choice Lane Thursday morning due to a severe two-vehicle collision.
Authorities say the roadway has reopened.
The Frederick County Sheriff’s Office says there was a heavy police presence in that area.
The incident occurred on Thursday, Mar 7 around 5:30 a.m.
When authorities arrived on the scene, one individual was unconscious and one was trapped inside the vehicle. Rescue crews extricated the trapped person from the vehicle.
Both individuals were transported to area trauma centers.
The Frederick County Sheriff’s Office continues to investigate the collision.
