MDOT SHA Says Work On I-70 Near Myersville To Continue Week Of March 11th

Repairs will be made to the westbound I-70  bridge over Catoctin Creek.

Myersville, Md (KM) The work on westbound Interstate 70 in the Myersville area is expected to continue the week of March 11th.

On Thursday, March 7th, the Maryland Department of Transportation State Highway Administration crews found a puncture on the deck of the bridge which takes westbound I-70 across Catoctin Creek.

MDOT SHA says emergency repairs will take place  from Sunday through Thursday from 9:00 PM until 5:00 AM.  The right lane and the shoulder will be closed at that time. .

The emergency repairs are expected to be completed by April.

Motorists traveling in that area during the overnight hours  are urged to find alternate routes.
