Intermittent Closures Planned For Part Of Monocacy Blvd. In Frederick Later In March

But the road will remain open to through traffic.

Frederick, Md (KM) Intermittent closures are scheduled for southbound  Monocacy Boulevard between Gas House Pike and Spires Way  starting on March 25th, 2024.  The City of Frederick says this will allow a contractor to widen the road.

Officials also say these intermittent closures  include  not just individual lanes of Monocacy Boulevard, but the sidewalks  as well.  But the City says Monocacy Boulevard will still be open to through traffic during this time.

The widening work   is expected to last until June 30th, 2024.

The applicant for this intermittent  road closure is C. William Hetzer, Inc., at 9401 Sharpsburg Pike in Hagerstown.
