Westminster, Md (KM) Eight people were displaced following a house fire in Carroll County Monday morning.
At around 4:45 AM, fire fighters were dispatched to 445 East Green Street in Westminster for a two-story, single family home on fire. They spent 20-minutes bringing the flames under control. There were no injuries.
Damage is estimated at $100,000 to the structure, and $50,000 to the contents.
The Maryland State Fire Marshal’s Office says the fire originated on the front porch. The cause remains under investigation.
The displaced occupants are being assisted by the Red Cross.
