He was taken into custody a half hour after the shooting.
Hagerstown, Md (KM) A suspect was taken into custody on Monday afternoon in Washington County following a fatal shooting.
The Sheriff’s Office says at around 1:25 PM, deputies responded to the 17,400 block of Maple Leaf Court for a shooting. They found an adult male inside a home suffering from gunshot wounds. He succumbed to his injuries.
Police surrounded the area, and were able to locate a suspect in the 1000 block of Noland Drive who was taken into custody without incident.
The name of the suspect and the victim have not yet been released.
The Sheriff’s Office says Hagerstown Police and the Maryland State Police assisted in the apprehension of the suspect.
