Mobile Health Unit To Make Stops At Locations Around Frederick, And One Site In Brunswick

Personnel will provide health services and food distribution in sites in April and May.

Frederick, Md (KM) Coming to a neighborhood near you; the Frederick City Department of Housing and Human Services’ Mobile Health Unit. The unit will be visiting eight locations in Frederick and one in Brunswick during the months of April and May.

The Outreach Team and the  Program Staff will be providing health services, food distribution and an opportunity to learn more about other HHS programs such as energy assistance.

The Mobile Health  Unit will visit these locations:

April 5: Hill Street Park 100 Hill Street, Frederick, MD 21703

April 12: Amber Meadows Park 201 Amber Drive, Frederick, MD 21702

April 19: Catoctin Manor Apartments 798 Motter Avenue, Frederick, MD 21701

April 26: Frederick Food Bank at Trinity 6040 New Design Road, Frederick, MD 21703

May 3: Brunswick Library 915 N Maple Ave, Brunswick, MD 21716

May 10: International Community Church 123 Byte Dr, Frederick, MD 21702

May 17: Tasker’s Chance Park 1175 Key Parkway, Frederick, MD 21702

May 24: Lucas Village 111 Pennsylvania Ave, Frederick, MD 21701

May 31: South End Baptist Church 506 Carrollton Dr, Frederick, MD 21701

Health services will be provided by HHS staff at each location from 10:00 AM until 3:00 PM . Food distribution will begin at 12:00 noon and continue until supplies last. The food bags will contain a mix of mostly non-perishable food items.
