Marylanders Turn To Mail-In Voting For 2024 Presidential Primary Election

The State Board of Elections expects 2024 Primary to be the highest mail-in ballot election in a non-COVID year.

MARYLAND (BW)- Almost 600,000 mail-in ballots have bee requested by Maryland Voters for the 2024 Presidential Primary Election.

The Maryland State Board of Elections states this is almost the same number of mail-in ballots requested for the 2022 General Election.

The Board expects the number of mail-in ballots requested to exceed the number requested in 2022.

The deadline to request a mail-in ballot is May 7.

Voters can also request online ballots that can then be printed out. The deadline to request an online printable ballot is May 10.

Ballots that have already been requested started being sent out on Wednesday, Mar 27.
