Gaithersburg, Md (KM) A Clarksburg man has been charged with drug and weapons offenses following a traffic stop last week. Rasheed Quiovers. 24. was taken into custody.
Montgomery County Police say on Thursday, April 4th, 2024, officers conducted a traffic stop along Highland Hall Drive north of Gaithersburg. . They recognized Quiovers who was a passenger and confirmed he had two open warrants. He was taken into custody without incident. .
Authorities say a search of the vehicle netted suspected “Molly” (MDMA), 44 M30 suspected fentanyl pills, a live ammunition round, a digital scale and three Alprazoloam pills..
Police say further investigation revealed that Quiovers was in possession of a backpack containing a loaded handgun, a 30-round magazine, about 1,025 M30 suspected fentanyl pills, marijuana, packaging materials, a digital scale, and a large amount of cash.
Quiovers was transported to the Montgomery County Central Processing Unit where he has been charged with multiple drug and firearms charges. He’s being held without bond.
