A woman was killed when her vehicle struck a utility pole.
Frederick, Md (KM) A fatal, one-vehicle crash in the Frederick area early Tuesday morning remains under investigation.
The Sheriff’s Office says at around 5:06 AM, deputies responded to the intersection of New Design Road and Crestwood Boulevard. They learned that a vehicle operated by Cindy Sue Reed-Sensenig, 43, of Tuscarora, Md., was traveling northbound along New Design Road. . Authorities say for unknown reasons, the vehicle drifted to the right, traveled off the northeast corner of the intersection with Crestwood Boulevard, and struck a pole.
Despite the best efforts by medics arriving at the scene, Reed-Sensesig was pronounced dead at the scene. Her body was transported to the State Medical Examiner’s Office for an autopsy.
The Sheriff’s Office Traffic Unit is conducting the investigation into this crash.
