Taneytown, Md (KM) No injuries were reported from a pole barn fire in the Taneytown area Sunday afternoon.
The State Fire Marshal’s Office say at 12:51 PM, fire fighters were dispatched to 2853 Bear Run Road for a 30-foot by 40-foot pole barn on fire. It took 35 fire fighters 20 minutes to bring the flames under control
Damage is estimated at $25,000 to the structure, and $150,000 to the contents. . .
The Fire Marshal’s Office says the fire started in the interior of the barn. The cause remains under investigation. .
