No injuries, but fire fighters had to rescue some dogs, cats and ducks.

Sykesville, Md (KM) No injuries were reported from a house fire in Sykesville on Tuesday afternoon.
At around 4:24 PM, fire fighters were dispatched to 2 Railroad Avenue for a two-story, single family home on fire. They spent 30 minutes bringing the flames under control. Damage is estimated at $40,000 to the structure, and $10,000 to the contens. .
The Maryland State Fire Marshall’s Office says the cause is under investigation.
Fire fighters also rescued two dogs, two cats and two ducks from the home. One of the dogs was taken to a veterinary facility for treatment by Carroll County Animal Control Officers.
The Red Cross is assisting the two occupants of the home.
