Westminster, Md (KM) The Clearfield Bible Church in Westminster was destroyed by fire last week, and some of its friends have started a Go-Fund-Me Page to help raise money to rebuild the house of worship.
The fire last Thursday did an estimated $1.5 million in damage, according to the Maryland State Fire Marshal’s Office. It took 75 fire fighters two hours to bring the flames under control. One fire fighter was taken to the hospital with a life-threatening injury.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation, but officials have ruled out any criminal activity.
