Gaithersburg, Md (KM) A Martinsburg, West Virginia woman was killed in a two-vehicle crash in Montgomery County on Tuesday afternoon.
Police say Angela Marie Brill, 56, was traveling northbound in a Chevrolet Malibu along Georgia Avenue between Triadelphia Lake Road and the Howard–Montgomery County line. A person operating a Toyota Tacoma Pickup Truck was heading southbound when the vehicle crossed into the center line, and struck the Malibu.
Brill was medivaced to Shock Trauma where she was pronounced dead. The driver of the Tacoma was taken to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The Montgomery County Police Collision Reconstruction Unit is investigating. Anyone who may have witnessed this crash is asked to call CRU detectives at 240-773-6620.
