Montgomery County Police are investigating.
Gaithersburg, Md (KM) A crash involving a car and a zero-turn riding lawnmower Tuesday afternoon led to one death.
Montgomery County Police say officers and fire and rescue personnel were dispatched to Great Seneca Highway and High Gables Drive in Gaithersburg for the accident.. They learned that the driver of the mower, identified as Juan Guerrero-Moreno of Silver Spring, was crossing the northbound lanes of Great Seneca Highway from east to west when for unknown reasons a car traveling northbound struck the mower.
Guerrero-Moreno was taken to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead. . The driver of the car stayed at the scene.
This crash remains under investigation by the Montgomery County Police Collision Reconstruction Unit. Anyone who has information which could help, or who witnessed this collision is asked to call 240-773-6620.
