Westminster, Md (KM) The cause of a house fire Wednesday night in Westminster remains under investigation.
Just before 6:00 PM, fire fighters were dispatched to the 1567 Bloom Road a house on fire. 30 fire fighters spent ten minutes bringing the flames under control The Maryland State Fire Marshal’s Office says damage is estimated at $100,000 to the structure., and $100,000 to the contents. . .
A woman drove herself to a local hospital for an evaluation.
The fire originated in the kitchen and was discovered by an occupant, the Fire Marshal’s Office says.
