These cases now head to the Circuit Court where trial dates will be scheduled.
Frederick, Md (KM). Five indictments were returned on Friday by the Frederick County Grand Jury. Two men, Rashaun Tyriek, Barber, 28, Baltimore, and Dahizae Emanji Brown, 22, of Hagerstown, were indicted as co-defendants. Both are charged with possession with intent to distribute, conspiracy to posses with intent to distribute and possession of cocaine. They’re also charged with possession with intent to distribute fentanyl and heroin/ fentanyl. The two men are also charged with conspiracy, distribution, possession with intent to distribute fentanyl/heroin and fentanyl. Barber is also charged with obstructing and hindering and giving false information to a police officer. These charges are for an offense which occurred on March 20th, 2025.
Also charged on Friday by the Grand Jury:
*Christian Alexander Perez-Santiago, 28, of Germantown, who is charged with 1st-degree assault, 2nd-degree assault and reckless endangerment for an offense which occurred on April 14th, 2025.
*Abdullah Malik Joppy, 54, of Myersville, who is charged with 2nd-degree rape without consent; two counts of 3rd-degree sex offense; and solicitation of a minor forĀ child pornography for offenses which occurred between January 1st and February 19th, 2025. .

*Deandre Silas Matthew Garrison, 25, of Baltimore, who is charged with 3rd-degree burglary; 4th-degree burglary of a dwelling, and two counts of 2nd-degree assault for an offense which occurred on April 5th, 2025.
These indictments move these cases to the Circuit Court where trial dates will be scheduled.
The Frederick County State’s Attorney Office says indictments are charging documents alleging criminal conduct, and defendants are innocent until proven guilty.
