Government Offices In Frederick County To Close On Memorial Day

They will reopen at their regulars house on Tuesday, May 27th.

Frederick, Md (KM) Frederick County Government offices will be closed on Monday, May 26th for Memorial Day.

Animal Control’s Administrative offices and the kennels will be closed for adoptions, but Animal Control Officers will be on routine duty.

Other agencies which will be closed include  the Department of Social Services, the Board of Elections, the Health Department and the Circuit and District Courts.

The transfer station at Reichs Ford Road, along with the recycling center and the administrative offices will be closed on Memorial Day. There will be no curbside pickup and all recycling collections will slide one day later than usual through the end of the week.

Other agencies to be closed on Memorial Day are  the public libraries, the State’s Attorney’s Office, and TransIT.  The MARC Train and the 204, 205 and 515 Commuter Bus Service will be canceled on Monday.

The University of Maryland’s Extension offices in Frederick County will be closed on Monday, May 26th for  Memorial Day.

All County Government offices will reopen on Tuesday, May 27th at the their regular scheduled hours.
