A bond hearing took place on Wednesday, Frederick Police say.

Frederick, Md (KM) A Frederick physician charged in two sexual assault cases has been granted bond. During a bail hearing on Wednesday, Circuit Court Judge Julie Minner agreed to a $10,000 secured bond for Doctor Syed Haque, 64, for each of the two pending cases, according to a Facebook posting from the Frederick Police. . The State’s Attorney’s Office had argued that Doctor Haque remain in jail on a no-bond status.
Haque was indicted by a Grand Jury, and arrested February 4th, 2025 following a Frederick Police investigation into allegations of sexual assault during two medical appointments as part of his practice. Authorities say Dr. Haque allegedly assaulted a patient under the pretense of conducting pelvic and breast exams. The two incidents occurred in October, 2024, and January, 2025.
Dr. Haque is scheduled to go on trial in November,2025 related to a third set of charges.
