Frederick, Md (KM) The trial of Keon Naki Wilson-Hawkins, 21, got underway on Monday at the Frederick County Court House with jury selection.
Wilson-Hawkins is charged with 1st-degree murder, conspiracy to commit 1st-degree murder, kidnapping and carjacking in connection with the death of Brice Boots, 65, of Pikesville. The Sheriff’s Office says Boots left his home on January 10th, 2024. He ended up deceased inside of an SUV parked a field off of Crum Road in Walkersville.
The State’s Attorney’s Office says the prosecution called witnesses to testify on Tuesday until around 4:44 PM.. The trial is scheduled to resume on Wednesday at 9:00 AM with the state calling more witnesses.
