Missing Girl Found During Fugitive Apprehension Operation In Frederick

It was conducted by the US Marshals Service, and other agencies.

Baltimore, Md (KM) A fugitive operation in Frederick on Thursday resulted in the recovery of a missing juvenile.

The US Marshals Service Capital Area Regional Task Force says it located Denis Misael Dominguez Reyes, 27, at 501 West 7th Street. He is a citizen of El Salvador and an alleged member of the M.S. 13 street gang. He was being sought after a Final Order of Removal was issued by immigration authorities.

During their operation, law enforcement personnel located a 16-year-old girl who had been reported missing by the Frederick County Sheriff’s Office. The US Marshals Services says Dominquez Reyes may have been harboring this teenager who is also from El Salvador. The girl was turned over to local authorities for appropriate care, and eventual reunification with her family.

Dominguez-Reyes is the custody of Immigration and Customs Enforcement and remains subject to removal proceedings.

“Assisting our state and local partners to recover critically missing children is a top priority of the United States Marshals Service,” says Clinton J. Fuchs, US Marshal for District of Maryland, in a statement. “We will continue to do everything we can to find these children and safely reunite  them with their families.”

The Frederick County Sheriff’s Office participated in this operation along with Immigration and Customs Enforcement–Enforcement and Removal Operations and Homeland Security Investigations.
