Montgomery County Police are searching for a man caught on camera after a late-night argument outside a Wheaton restaurant turned violent, leaving one person stabbed and hospitalized.
Rockville, Md. (DG) – Montgomery County Police have released surveillance video of a suspect wanted in a stabbing that happened early Saturday morning in Wheaton. Officers were called to the intersection of Fern Street and University Boulevard West around 3:20 a.m. for reports of a stabbing.
Detectives say a group of people was leaving a nearby restaurant when an argument broke out. During the altercation, the suspect pulled out a weapon and stabbed a man. The victim was rushed to a local hospital, where he remains in critical but stable condition.
The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, about 28 years old, with a thin build, short black hair, a goatee, an ear piercing, and tattoos on both arms. Police say he was wearing a white Nicaragua baseball jersey with the number 16 on the back, a royal blue cap with an āNā on the front, black shorts, and white Jordan sneakers.
