Nearby roadways closed during repair work have reopened.
Frederick, Md (KM)( The Frederick County Division of Public Works says repairs have been completed to the historic Loys Station Covered Bridge; .and as a result, Old Frederick Road between New Cut Road and Route 77, or Rocky Ridge Road, is now open.
That roadway was closed after the Loys Station Covered Bridge and warning portal at the south entrance were damaged last weekend when an over-sized vehicle tried to drive through it.
The repairs had been expected to take three weeks, but County officials say they were completed by late this week.
