Faith Debate: November 16th, 2025

Guilt/Innocence, Honor/Shame, Power/Fear

Penal Substitutionary Atonement (PSA) recognizes that the biblical gospel is presented in forensic terms which emphasize that the penalty for guilt is paid by a representative (Jesus). What should Christians think about this serious subject (with implications for understanding/proclaiming the good news itself)? In this very first show on the topic the initial groundwork is laid, with terms defined and core concerns identified.
