Shots Fired Incident In Frederick Linked To Burning Car In Germantown

Frederick Police investigating a reported shooting that is connected to a burning vehicle found in Germantown.

Frederick, Md. (DG) – A vehicle set on fire in Germantown may be linked to a Saturday shots fired incident in Frederick.

Authorities say Frederick Police responded around 4:15 p.m. to the 600 block of North Bentz Street for a reported shooting, but officers found no victims or suspects at the scene.

During their investigation, another law enforcement agency alerted police that a car matching the suspect’s vehicle description had been discovered unoccupied and burning in Germantown.
