Police say there is no indication so far of foul play.
Frederick, Md (KM) Frederick Police are providing an update on the body found last week in a wooded area of South East Street and Monocacy Boulevard near the roundabout.
Detectives located the body which was in an advanced state of decomposition. Due to the condition of the remains, a positive identification has not yet been made but that process is underway.
Authorities also say so far there’s no indication of foul play.
The individual who called in the report of the body has been interviewed by detectives. He originally contacted an area radio station about the find. The DJ there told him to call police immediately.,
The community and the media are urged to relay on confirmed information about this incident which has been released by the Frederick Police Department. Officials say further updates will be provided when they become available.
