Investigators in Loudoun County are working to determine what led to a deadly overnight crash in Brambleton.
Leesburg, Va. (DG) – A woman is dead and a man is facing DUI charges following an overnight crash in Loudoun County.
The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office says deputies were called just before midnight Saturday to a single-vehicle crash on Olympia Drive at Ringneck Place in Brambleton.
Police say 29-year-old passenger Katherine Leal was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver, 36-year-old Anvesh Hungenalli, was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries and has been charged with driving under the influence.
The crash remains under investigation, and additional charges are possible. Anyone who witnessed the incident is urged to contact police.
