Natural trees can be dropped off at several locations around the city.
Frederick, Md (KM) There is new life for your old Christmas tree once the holidays are over. The City of Frederick is holding its Christmas Tree Recycling Program from December 26th through January 31st.
Natural trees can be dropped off at:
*Harry Grove Stadium, (upper parking deck) at 21 Stadium Drive, Frederick, Md 21703
*Husky Park, 530 Highland Street, Frederick, Md 21703
*Taskers Chance Parking Lot (behind Westridge Shopping Center), 1100 Key Parkway, Frederick, Md
*Max Kehne Parking Lot, 1100 West 7th Street, Frederick, Md 21701
*Willow Brook Park, 350 McClellan Drive, Frederick, Md 21702
The City says each location will be clearly marked as a drop off area.
All lights, tinsel, ornaments, garland, plastic bags and tree stands should be removed before dropping off the trees.
These trees will be ground into mulch.
