Frederick Police Charge Man With Long List Of Drug Offenses

This follows a HIDTA Investigation.

Frederick, Md (KM) An Ijamsville man is charged with numerous drug offenses following his arrest on Tuesday. Glenn Aaron Wells, 59, was arrested at his home at 10043 Old National Pike. That’s where authorities say they found 765.8 grams of cocaine; 56.6 grams methamphetamine;  94 suspected M30 oxycodone pills;  38 suspected M15 oxycodone pills;  three K8 pills suspected to be M15 oxycodone;  and $39,336 in cash.

Wells is being held without bond at the Frederick County Adult Detention Center.

Frederick Police say the investigation into Wells began in October of last year in partnership with the Baltimore/ Washington High  Intensity Drug Trafficking Area (HIDTA) Task Force. Wells, who is also known as “G,” was allegedly involved in the illegal distribution of multiple controlled dangerous substances including cocaine within Frederick County, police say..

The Frederick Police Department conducted this investigation in coordination with the Frederick County Sheriff’s Office, the State’s Attorney’s Office and Homeland Security Investigations.

8. CJIS 1-0233: PWID Oxycodone

9. CJIS 1-0484: PWID School Zone – Oxycodone

10. CJIS 1-1111: Possession Oxycodone

11. CJIS 1-1285: Illegal possession of ammo
