Topical vs Expositional Sermons
The Faith Debate was welcomed onto another show to discuss plagiarism among pastors, preaching styles/approaches, and the weaknesses of “industrialized sermons”.
This episode is part two of a four-part conversation with Raymond Fava, in which we discuss the merits of expository preaching through entire books of the Bible (in comparison with preaching short series of messages which focus on narrow pre-determined topics).
Note: This series was slated to begin on January 25th, but circumstances at WFMD necessitated pushing back the start to February 1st. FYI, the original videocast lasted more than 90 minutes, and can be found online via platforms used by Evangelical Dark Web and Household of Faith in Christ.
You can find more editions of The Faith Debate on the websites for WFMD and the Christian Podcast Community (as well as on most podcast platforms – including SermonAudio and Odysee). Videos for The Faith Debate are made available in many of these same places, as well as on the Rumble channel for Household of Faith in Christ.
