Frederick, Md. (DG) – A Monrovia man is facing multiple charges following an investigation by the Frederick County Sheriff’s Office into child pornography.
Detectives with the Internet Crimes Against Children Unit say the case began after receiving a cyber tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. That tip led investigators to identify 31-year-old Joshua Oneal. On April 23rd, authorities executed a search warrant at his home on Linganore Woods Drive, where they seized several electronic devices.
Oneal was taken into custody and transported to the Frederick County Adult Detention Center. He is now charged with three counts of creating child pornography images and two counts of possession.
