Frederick, Md. (DG) – Two teenagers are in custody after deputies in Frederick County tracked down a stolen vehicle and pursued the suspects on foot.
Authorities say the incident began on April 22nd when deputies located a Hyundai reported stolen out of Montgomery County. When officers attempted a traffic stop, the driver and passenger ran from the vehicle near Shaffer Drive. After a brief foot chase, 18-year-old Issis Taylor and 19-year-old Juzyon Thompson, both of Frederick, were arrested.
They were taken to the Frederick County Adult Detention Center and now face multiple charges, including felony motor vehicle theft and theft between $1,500 and $25,000, along with misdemeanor charges for resisting arrest and obstructing officers.
