Leesburg, VA (JK) – Leesburg Police are investigating a residential burglary that occurred Saturday, May 2, in a Northeast neighborhood and are asking for the public’s assistance.
The incident happened in the 1600 block of Chickasaw Place NE. According to police, the burglary is believed to have taken place sometime between approximately 3:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. During that time window, one or more unknown suspects entered the residence and removed an undisclosed number of items.
Investigators are working to determine what was taken and identify those responsible. Police are urging anyone who may have been in the area at the time to report any suspicious activity they may have seen.
Residents nearby are also encouraged to check their home security systems or doorbell cameras for possible footage that could help advance the investigation.
