A Mount Airy man has admitted to federal sex abuse crimes involving three minor female victims.
Thirty-six-year-old Mark Brigham pleaded guilty to sexually exploiting victims and possessing child sexual abuse material. According to court documents, between September 2023 and August 2024, Brigham persuaded and coerced three minor females to engage in sexually explicit conduct and used his cellphone to create images and videos.
Investigators executed a search warrant at his Mount Airy home in August 2025, seizing electronic devices that later revealed child sexual abuse material. Authorities also recovered 35 firearms, ammunition, and a magazine during the search.
Brigham now faces a mandatory sentence of 15 – 30 years on the exploitation charge, plus up to 10 years for possessing child sexual abuse material.
