Gaithersburg, MD (JK) – An early morning motorcycle crash in Rockville has left one man dead.
Montgomery County Police say the collision happened around 1:16 a.m. at the intersection of Norbeck Road and Hannans Way.
According to the preliminary investigation, two Honda motorcycles were traveling westbound together when they made contact, causing both riders to lose control.
One rider suffered life-threatening injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The second motorcyclist was not injured and remained at the scene.
The Montgomery County Police Collision Reconstruction Unit is investigating. The victim’s name will be released after next of kin have been notified.
