A juvenile cyclist is dead following a tragic collision in Ellicott City, and Howard County police are working to determine exactly what happened.
Authorities say the crash occurred shortly before 2 p.m. Tuesday on Daniels Road when the girl fell from her bicycle into the path of a 2004 Sterling dump truck. She died at the scene.
The truck driver was uninjured and stayed at the location as investigators continue looking into the circumstances surrounding the crash.
