


Frederick, MD (JK) – The Frederick County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help as investigators work to identify those responsible for damaging nearly 40 vehicles overnight.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, the incidents occurred between approximately 12 a.m. and 6 a.m. Thursday in three locations:
Jefferson Technology Community
Spring Ridge Senior Living parking lot
Oakdale Villages near Oakdale High School
Investigators say the windows of the vehicles were smashed in each case. At this time, no property has been reported stolen from any of the vehicles.
Detectives are asking residents who live in or traveled through those areas during the overnight hours to review footage from home security cameras, doorbell cameras, or dash cameras for anything suspicious.

As of Thursday afternoon, no suspects have been identified and no arrests have been announced. The investigation remains ongoing.
