A homicide investigation is underway following a deadly shooting in Hagerstown.
Police say officers were called to the first block of East Antietam Street at approximately 3:30 Sunday morning for a report of a person who had been shot. Responding officers located an adult male with an apparent gunshot wound, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Hagerstown Police Department’s Criminal Investigation Unit is leading the investigation and is asking anyone who may have information about the incident to come forward and contact investigators.
