Frederick, MD (JK) – Frederick County Transit has rolled out several service improvements designed to make bus travel easier and more convenient for riders.
The changes include a simplified hourly schedule for the 10 Connector, which now runs between Waverley Drive in the Golden Mile and Kingsbrook Crossing in Ballenger Creek with timed transfers to reduce connection wait times.
A new 15 Connector has also been added, providing hourly service between Kingsbrook Crossing and the Downtown Frederick Transit Center while expanding service throughout Ballenger Creek.
The East Patrick Loop is now served by the 15 Connector instead of the 60 Connector. As a result, the 60 Connector no longer serves East Gate Plaza or Royal Farms.
Saturday schedules have also been simplified, with departure times now matching weekday schedules to make trip planning easier.
Transit has also added more weekday and Saturday trips on the Brunswick-Jefferson and Emmitsburg-Thurmont routes, giving rural riders better access to jobs, medical appointments, and other community services.
Updated route maps and schedules are available through Frederick County Transit.
